Summer on the Hill

During the summer, McDaniel College is bustling with activity inside and outside the classroom with high school graduations, camps and conferences and graduate and undergraduate classes.

McDaniel is host site for 12 local high school and college graduations and more than 40 camps/conferences such as Sports International Football Camp with Lardarius Webb and Roy Helu, Civil Air Patrol Honor Guard Academy, Maryland State Boychoir, Nike Field Hockey, Nike LAX, King of the Hill LAX Tournament, D.C. College Success Foundation, and of course, the world renown Common Ground on the Hill.

Summer is a busy time of year too for McDaniel’s graduate students with 647 registered for the 97 courses scheduled over three summer sessions. And this year, for the first time, the college is offering 16 undergraduate classes, five of them online, over two summer sessions.
