The Green Terrace revealed
The four winners who submitted the new name are Beau Horning, Mary Dietz, Chip Junkin and Anna Hall. Each of the winners received a $50 gift card and 10 meal vouchers. Consolation prizes were given to all who submitted a name for the contest, including Chaz Neal, George Brenton, Becky Myers and Maureen Meloche for “Billy Mac’s,” Nick Bender for “Terradelies” and Elyse Sparks for “Courtside Café.”
Five students participated in a foot-long sub-eating contest after the reveal. Senior Turner McCallum was declared the winner after finishing his sub in 11 minutes and 20 seconds.
Those gathered at the unveiling enjoyed free samples of Sierra Mist soda, Naked juice, and café food such as cookies, subs and a meat and cheese plate.
