The winter/spring 2017 edition of McDaniel’s McLive calendar of events, available online, features two SmartTALK conversations with alumni, a student-directed play festival, an art exhibition of work by four alumnae and much more.

The Foreign Film Festival at Carroll Arts Center runs all four February Fridays, while the Taste of Asia dinner, the film “Masks,” multicultural performances by Qurrat Ann Kadwani and Ernie G, and “‘Free Exercise’: The Tyranny of Religious Freedom in Constitutional Democracies” round out events with a global perspective.

Students perform in concerts and stage productions — and showcase their work in art exhibitions and VideoPalooza film festival. McDaniel alumnus Victor McTeer and James Bell give the Zepp Lecture, Good Food Institute executive director Bruce Friedrich delivers the Ridington Lecture and American poet Gary Whitehead offers the Bothe Poetry Reading.

Winter and spring on the Hill are packed full of events that are open to the public and most are free. Check out the full listing in McLive.
