Language/Education lecturer speaks at McDaniel College
The McDaniel College Bilingual Education: Training for All Teachers Program will host guest speaker James Crawford, Executive Director of the National Association for Bilingual Education, at 7:30 p.m. March 21 in Decker Auditorium, Lewis Hall of Science.

Crawford is a writer and lecturer specializing in the politics of language and education.  He is an expert on the English Only movement, English Plus, bilingual education, Native American language revitalization, and language rights in the U.S.A.

Crawford's latest book, "Educating English Learners: Language Diversity in the Classroom," is widely used in teacher-training courses.
