Contrast Literary Magazine editor Courtney Jordan ’06 is in the process of formatting the magazine for its unveiling at 7 p.m. April 26 in McDaniel Lounge. Students will read their poems and stories at the coffeehouse launch.

“A lot of this year’s poems are about people, their experiences, and moments in individual lives,” says Jordan.

This year’s magazine is called "Sometimes Why/Y." The magazine offers an artistic exploration of life moments in which "Why?" is the question. It experiments with the play between that word “why” and the letter "Y," used as a variable in an equation.

The event is free and open to the public.
