To assure understanding of important issues regarding fraternity and sorority recruitment, please read the policy below. In order to be eligible for sorority / fraternity membership, I understand that I must meet the following requirements: 1. Sophomore or higher standing as defined by the Registrar, completion of one semester or at least 12 credit hours at McDaniel and a 2.25 GPA from the previous semester as well as a 2.25 cumulative GPA at McDaniel. 2. Second Semester freshman standing as defined by the Registrar, completion of one semester or at least 12 credit hours at McDaniel College and at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA at McDaniel College. 3. Transfer students are eligible after the completion of one semester or at least 12 credit hours at McDaniel College. The grade point average policy for sophomores or older applies to transfer students as well.
