Job Description:
Student Ambassadors are in charge of welcoming prospective students and their families to McDaniel College. We have a myriad of opportunities for students including tour guides, lunch hosts, class visit hosts, event parking, event registrations, emailing and phone calls to prospective student and/or their families.
Note: The positions we offer within the Ambassador Program vary in pay and responsibility. Initially, anyone being accepted into the Ambassador Program will assist with programs and duties for no pay. After acquiring several hours of service, one is approved for current minimum wage pay (work study OR campus employment are eligible forms of pay). If a student wishes to rise to the rank of tour guide, a process of doing a mock tour and interviewing is necessary. Upon approval, the upper level Ambassador will be paid $10 per tour or per hour if working programs for Admissions.
