The McDaniel College Band is a 70 piece ensemble devoted to the preparation and performance of traditional and contemporary literature. This group is made up of McDaniel College full-time undergraduate and graduate students, part-time students, faculty, emerti faculty, alumni, administrative staff and musicians from the surrounding area.
Registration
Students are encouraged to enroll for credit. Students that have a conflict (which would make them late for rehearsal, etc.) are encouraged to schedule the class for audit.
Performances
We are scheduled for a concert in WMC Alumni Hall on Friday, May 10th, 2013, at 7 p.m. The dress rehearsal will be held on Wednesday, May 8th, at 7:00 p.m. in WMC Alumni Hall.
Grading
Attendance and participation determines the final grade. Two unexcused absences alter the final grade by one letter grade ( i.e. 2 absences = B, 3 absences = C, etc. Absence from class due to illness must be excused with a written statement from you doctor or a phone message for the instructor before the class. Any other absence from class should be discussed with the instructor in advance. Absences not discussed with the instructor will automatically be unexcused. You will not be graded on your ability.
