England and Wales Theatre Tour

January 5 - 16, 2014

(and Dr. Who, too) Expect to see more than you expect to see.

The Course

We will explore, the city of Bath which has been declared a best world heritage site and contains the spectacular Roman Bath complex. We will visit the mystical town of Glastonbury with its legendary links to King Arthur and the Holy Grail and see a few witches in town. You will wonder at the Mesolithic pillars of Stonehenge and Avebury. We will climb to the summit of The Tor which is rumored to emanate super natural power and is reported to be the home of friendly fairies. In Oxford we will meet with our English student counterparts to share both academic and social experiences. And in Stratford upon Avon, Shakespeare’s home town, we will celebrate the life of the bard by attending plays at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and taking a backstage tour and workshop. In Cardiff, Wales, we will thrill to the Doctor Who Experience and climb its castle walls. We conclude our adventuring in London, where our centrally located hotel will allow us to visit Museums, Palaces, parks, crypts, pubs, Theatres and still have time for shopping. Oh, did I mention we will see seven play/musicals at Royal and West End Theatres. (Some plays will be selected by you.)
