COVID-19 (Corona Virus) Related Travel Restrictions


All College-affiliated/funded international travel is prohibited until further notice.

Additionally, the College strongly advises any student, faculty or staff member to follow CDC guidelines and those returning from a country designated by the State Department Travel Advisory as Level 2, 3, or 4 because of COVID-19 will be expected to self-quarantine off-campus for a 14-day period. This policy is effective immediately. State Department Level designations are subject to change, so please be mindful of all upcoming international travel, especially personal travel. If you travel to a location that is designated to a Level 2, 3, or 4 while you are there, the self-quarantine expectation will still apply.


All College-affiliated/funded travel has been suspended unless expressly approved by your vice-president. This includes travel to conferences and other professional activities.

The College is strongly discouraging any travel to locations within the United States where there is an intense concentration of cases of COVID-19, as well as travel by cruise ship. If you do choose to travel, please monitor yourself for symptoms of COVID-19 and consult your healthcare provider if any symptoms develop.

In accordance with our Housing Policies and Restrictions Related to COVID-19, residential students may not host off-campus guests in any campus building.

Returning From Travel

Any student, faculty, or staff returning from or traveling through Level 2, 3, or 4 countries should immediately notify Campus Safety. If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, you should contact a health-care provider and follow their instructions for evaluation.
