McDaniel College Theatre presents “Twisted Tales of Poe"

McDaniel College Theatre presents “Twisted Tales of Poe,” a radio play of four works by Edgar Allan Poe, April 30 and May 6 at 7:00 p.m.  The performance, adapted by Philip Grecian, is directed by theatre arts faculty member Gené Fouché, and will be broadcast on the McDaniel College radio station, WGTR.

Four stories from Edgar Allan Poe are told in the form of a staged radio drama, complete with cues for sound effects and music.  Philip Grecian has adapted “Tell Tale Heart,” “Cask of Amontillado,” “The Raven,” and “The Black Cat” into an evening full of theatrical thrills and chills.

The cast includes McDaniel students Vanessa Bliss, Harrison Booth, Zack Callis, Nicholle D’Anna, Madison Dehais, Sophia Gilbart, Bryant Gutknecht, Destiny Houston, Lauren McKenna, Mandy Murren, Corey Foote, Corey Van Huff, Emma Walther, and Luke Weinberg
