McDaniel again designated Military Friendly School

Green Terror battalion ROTC cadets training in the field
December 05, 2017

McDaniel College has been designated a Military Friendly School for the ninth consecutive year.

The Military Friendly Schools® list recognizes the nation’s top colleges, universities and trade schools that are doing the most for members of the military, veterans and their families.

Army ROTC has been a tradition at the college since 1919, and the Green Terror Battalion is one of the oldest ROTC programs in the nation. McDaniel also participates in the Post-9/11 GI Bill and Yellow Ribbon Program.

McDaniel appears with other 2018 Military Friendly Schools® in the “Military Friendly Schools Guide” and the December issue of “G.I. Jobs®,” as well as on MilitaryFriendly.com.

First published in 2009, the Military Friendly Schools® list is compiled annually by Victory Media, publisher of “G.I. Jobs®,” “STEM JobsSM” and “Military Spouse.” Institutions on the list are evaluated using public data sources, input from student veterans and responses to a data-driven Military Friendly Schools® survey from participating institutions.
