Eric Immler

• Director of Campus Safety

Chief Eric Immler serves as the Director of Campus Safety. With over 20 years of law enforcement experience, in addition to assignments in Patrol and Community Outreach, he served as a Detective with the Westminster Police Department, a member of the State House Detail with the Maryland Capitol Police, additional command staff positions, and Director of Campus Safety & Security at Garrison Forest School. Chief Immler is an active member with the Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators-Chesapeake Region, and a member of the Maryland Chiefs’ of Police, Harvard Associates in Police Science, and International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators.

An Honors graduate of the Maryland Police Training Commission Police Academy, and Campus Public Safety Institute -Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area, and holds instructor certifications through the Maryland Police Training Commission and Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE).

Chief Immler enjoys golf, traveling, and spending time with his wife Erica (who he met at McDaniel College in 2002), daughter Emily and their family dog a Goldendoodle named Elijah.
