China? Zimbabwe? Budapest? Study abroad choices abound

With January Term registration underway, McDaniel students are finding themselves facing the enviable decisions of whether to go to China or Turkey, Budapest or Zimbabwe, Morocco or Cozumel – and they’re looking to friends who’ve been there for help with those choices.

Each year about 200 McDaniel students study abroad during fall or spring semester, January Term or summer vacation. Choosing among affiliated programs in more than 50 countries, 35 percent of McDaniel graduates have participated in an international study program. A new semester-long program takes honors students to the University of Glasgow in Scotland where they earn two honors credits.
