- Student piano recital at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 29 in Levine Recital Hall.

- Monday Night Music presents Tim Jenkins 7 p.m. Nov. 1 in McDaniel Lounge.

- “Of These Hollers I Sing,” at 7 p.m. Nov. 9 in McDaniel Lounge, a musical, multi-media and lecture performance by McDaniel College artist-in-residence Walt Michael based on his experiences as a student volunteer in Appalachia in the 1960s.

- Chamber Music on the Hill presents “Holiday Brass” with the Lyric Brass Quintet 3 p.m. Nov. 14 in Baker Memorial Chapel. Tickets: $15 for adults; $10 for seniors and veterans; children and students with valid ID admitted free.

- Student Jazz Guitar Ensemble 7 p.m. Nov. 15 in Baker Chapel.

- North Africa Conference "The Dynamics of Terror Networks in North Africa," featuring panel discussions and a keynote address by noted national and international experts.  8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov 16 in The Forum in Decker College Center.
