In Centennial Conference (CC) women's swimming action, McDaniel won the first nine events Feb. 8 to defeat Washington (Md.) 57-37. Senior Emma Duesterhaus of Spartanburg, S.C., won three times in her final collegiate dual meet to pace the Green Terror (7-5, 4-3 CC), which finished the dual-meet season with a winning record for the first time since going 7-4 in 2002-03. It marked the first time that the squad finished with a winning record in CC dual-meet competition.
In women’s basketball, McDaniel used an 11-2 run early in the second half to take control of the game and ultimately defeat Dickinson 67-55 in Centennial Conference (CC) women's basketball action on Wednesday.
Codi McMaster (Spring Grove, Pa./Spring Grove) matched her career high with 17 points to lead the Green Terror (16-5, 11-4 CC), who clinched its first CC playoff berth since winning the title in 2009-10. Lindsey Nichols (Wilmington, Del./St. Mark's) and Karli Zeps(Reisterstown, Md./Seton Keough) added 10 points apiece. Zeps added eight rebounds.
