On Wednesday, March 30, the McDaniel community and friends have the chance to come together for one day during One Hill, One Day to give in support of current and future McDaniel students.
Amy Davidson '02 Latta is sharing the art of hand lettering and the path to creative discovery, one lesson at a time. We asked her about her newest book and her advice on all things creative.
Several McDaniel alumni were recently named 40 Under 40 professionals for exceptional contributions to their professions and communities. Aaron Slaughter ’10 was nationally recognized as a 40 Under 40 Black CPA, and Ashley Day-Gibbs ’12 and Bryan Hamper ’06 were recognized by Baltimore Business Journal as 40 Under 40 Baltimore professionals. Baltimore Business Journal also recognized Joe Dominick, a partner in Gauge Digital Media, who attended McDaniel while launching his first business.
Bruce H. Preston, a longtime real estate executive, has been chosen to serve as chair of the McDaniel College Board of Trustees. Preston is a 1975 alumnus and has served on the college’s Board of Trustees since 1995.
The Green & Gold Committee works with alumni athletes in support and promotion of McDaniel’s athletic programs, sponsors and promotes events for athletes, such as networking and celebrations for current or prior team successes and expands awareness of and support for McDaniel College and its programs.
After 742 days, Homecoming 2021 consisted of a plethora of activities, including alumni awards, milestone class reunions, cheering for the Green Terror, and more.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of retired Lt. Gen. Otto J. Guenther ‘63, chair of the McDaniel College Board of Trustees. A special remembrance in honor of Otto is being planned for Homecoming.
