Admission Deadline Extension

McDaniel College has extended its Nov. 1 Smart Decision application deadline until Friday, Nov. 9 because of Hurricane Sandy that hit the East Coast this week.

In an email to students who expressed interest in applying to McDaniel, Florence Hines, vice president for enrollment management and dean of admissions at McDaniel, wrote, "I'm a firm believer in 'admission without anxiety,' so in the event that you and your family need to prepare for this storm, I thought it might be helpful for you to have some more time to submit your application to McDaniel. I hope you and your family keep safe, and I look forward to reviewing your Smart Decision application when it arrives."
