10th annual Foreign Film Festival screened Fridays in February
Film Lovers in Carroll County (FLICC) announce the selections for the 10th annual Foreign Film Festival, sponsored by McDaniel College, at the Carroll Arts Center on Fridays in February.
Films begin at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $6 for adults and $5 for CCAC members, students and seniors and are available on-line or at the box-office. McDaniel students, faculty and staff are admitted free. All films are shown with English subtitles. The Carroll Arts Center is located at 91 West Main Street in downtown Westminster. Note: “The Intouchables,” originally scheduled to be screened on Feb. 22, has been moved to March 15 at the studio’s request. Previously purchased tickets for this film will be honored on the new date or refunded.
In keeping with FLICC tradition, the series begins with the film that won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film in the previous year. The schedule is as follows:
