- 8th annual Barnes-Ferencz Piano Competition at 9 a.m. March 14 in Levine Recital Hall and Band Room. Winners Recital is scheduled for 7 p.m. March 15 in McDaniel Lounge.

- McDaniel College Honors Exhibition, “We Put the Art in Smart: The Pretentious Show,” from March 24-April 3 in the Esther Prangley Rice Gallery in Peterson Hall. Opening reception at 7 p.m. March 24. For gallery hours, call 410-857-2595.

- Theologian, author and professor Rosemary Radford Ruether presents a lecture, "Feminist Interreligious Dialogue and Eco-Feminism," at 6:30 p.m. March 25 on campus in McDaniel Lounge.

- Award-winning author and professor Barbara Hurd presents “What We Talk About When We Talk about Nature," insights and readings from her work, during McDaniel’s 2009 Bothe Lecture at 7:30 p.m. March 26 on campus in McDaniel Lounge.
