McDaniel first-year students in Washington Post article

October 04, 2011

Two McDaniel first-year students are featured in the Washington Post article, “In college transition, life changes for siblings left behind,” published Oct. 3.

Rachel Israel talks about keeping in touch with her 15-year-old brother at home in Fairfax County, Va., and Tasha Wemhoner, a long way from her Colorado home, says life is different away from the four siblings she left at home, including a brother in first-grade, whom she often walked home from the bus stop.
