Sophomore Joe Rollins of  Temple Hills, Md., carried the ball 26 times for 150 yards to give him 1,039 on 174 carries this football season versus Dickinson on Oct. 21 during the Green Terror’s (1-6, 1-5 CC) first night game since 1992. Rollins also caught two passes for 36 yards and returned two kickoffs for 46 yards to give him 232 all-purpose yards on the night. Dickinson defeated McDaniel 17-16.

In field hockey, the McDaniel defense withstood a barrage of shots and capitalized with the game's lone goal for a 1-0 win Oct. 22 over Haverford in a critical Centennial Conference (CC) field hockey game. Senior Stephanie Thomson of Glen Burnie, Md., backstopped a stalwart defense for the Green Terror (10-5, 4-4 CC), making 12 saves.
