Executive Alliance Honor Roll

For the third consecutive year, McDaniel College has been named to the Executive Alliance’s Honor Roll among the colleges and universities in Maryland with the most representation by women on their boards and executive leadership teams.

Each Honor Roll award organization has at least 30% of its executive leadership and 30% of its board of director seats held by women.

Additionally, McDaniel College President Julia Jasken is among five women leaders in the Baltimore area selected by the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland to receive their Distinguished Women Awards for their impact on the business world and their communities. The honorees will be recognized during a special event on April 18.

The 10th president of McDaniel and the second woman in the college’s over 150-year history, President Jasken credits the mentorship that she has received for inspiring her professional journey, which led her to create an advisory council for the McDaniel Women’s Leadership Network, an exclusive group of women leaders focused on supporting women in pursuing their personal and professional goals.

Named a 2023 Enterprising Women of Excellence award winner by the Baltimore Business Journal and among Maryland’s Top 100 Women and an Influential Marylander by The Daily Record, she serves on the board of directors for HERS National Women Leadership Network.

She is also on the Board of Trustees of the Maryland Independent College and University Association (MICUA) and Board of Directors for Baltimore’s CollegeBound Foundation, as well as the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce.
