Community is defined as a unified body of individuals. When women come together with the shared purpose of supporting other women, our collective impact is extraordinary. Together, we can build community and connections through our generosity of time, talent, and treasure.
Opportunities to promote, celebrate, and nurture professional growth are a key component of the McDaniel Women’s Leadership Network. Join us for a variety of in-person and virtual events where you can connect with women from various industries and stages of their careers, and hear from women leaders about their challenges and successes.
Your philanthropic support of McDaniel women can provide access through scholarships, opportunities for experiencedbased learning, and support of career placement. Giving opportunities are tiered to ensure you can participate at various stages of your career.
This fund was established in 2007 in accordance with the MWLN's mission to develop programs that attract and engage women in the life of the college. It is awarded to an entering first-year female student who has exhibited leadership potential through academic, athletic, and/or community service. It can be awarded to the same person for a total of four years.
Contributing to an endowed scholarship fund helps meet the needs of eligible students at the college, bringing them closer to their goals. Membership in MWLN is not required to contribute to the network through philanthropy.
