See Yourself Here
Do you wonder what the campus community really looks like during the academic year when there are deadlines, readings, a half-dozen options for cool things to do, and a sudden desperate need for more caffeine before the next class? When you visit the Hill, you’ll see the real McDaniel in action — and you’ll want to be a part of it all. Choose the type of program that best meets your needs.
Each spring, we host two visit programs specifically targeted to high school juniors. Our Junior Visit Weekday program includes a class visit, parent sessions, a campus tour and lunch in the dining hall. Our Junior Visit Open House is a great introduction to the McDaniel community, and we encourage you to choose the visit that best suits your needs and schedule.
Whether this is your first, second, or third visit to McDaniel, if you are an admitted first year student we want to be sure that you have all of the information you need to Choose McDaniel, and we invite you to join the McDaniel community during one of our two spring Admitted Student Days. Speak with professors and students about the wealth of opportunities in and out of the classroom and highlights of the departments that interest you most, get answers to any remaining questions you have, begin to envision your personalized McDaniel experience, and meet many of the students and staff who make McDaniel special.
Individual Day at McDaniel visits (available mid-February through early May) allow you to build a visit experience that meets your own personal needs and schedule. Due to high demand during the spring semester, preferential scheduling is given to admitted students for the Fall of 2016.
