The Visit Incentive Grant is a commitment McDaniel makes to encourage all prospective students and their families to see what campus has to offer. 

The Visit Incentive Grant totals $4,000 ($1,000/year), and is added to any merit scholarships a student may receive. You will qualify when you  visit in-person anytime before you complete your application  when applying for the Spring or Fall of 2026

Program Eligibility and Details:         

• All prospective undergraduate students are eligible. If you visit in the years before you apply, your Visit Incentive Grant will be awarded at the time of admission.
• You must visit prior to completing your application. A student who has been admitted is not eligible for any Visit Incentive Grant.
• The student must attend an in-person admissions event hosted by the admissions office. Athletes on an official visit will be eligible if the official visit includes time with admissions. The Admissions Event Manager can help athletes coordinate time with admissions during the recruitment visit if the standard admissions visit options conflict with the official athletic visit schedule.
• All Visit Incentive Grants are guaranteed for 4 years or completion of a Bachelor’s degree, whichever comes first.
• Visit Grants are not duplicated if a student has visited multiple times unless there is a special program or offer underway.
