In response to Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan’s executive order to close all non-essential businesses beginning at 5 p.m. tonight, all McDaniel faculty and staff will transition to remote work except for those performing essential critical infrastructure functions, as identified by their Vice President.

Please be aware that this will not affect online learning instruction for our students, including access to academic and support services, as McDaniel faculty and staff will continue to work remotely.

Access to campus will be limited to only identified essential critical employees who have been approved by their Vice President. No other faculty or staff will be allowed on campus. It is recommended that all essential critical infrastructure employees carry their McDaniel ID at all times while on campus.

The College’s website, including access to the Portal and Colleague, as well as email will continue to be able to be accessed remotely. The College’s phone system will also remain operational with the voicemail system available from off campus.
