Advancement Engagement

The Advancement Engagement team is responsible for acceptance, management and recognition of all donor gifts to the college. Advancement Engagement creates programs and communications designed to share the impact of philanthropy and engage donors, alumni and friends.

Advancement Services provides critical tools to support all fundraising activity through technical and data maintenance, gift processing and accounting, and research.

Alumni and Parent Engagement

The Alumni and Parent Engagement team develops and maintains relationships between parents, families, and McDaniel/WMC alumni to strengthen the bond alumni have with the college. The team provides extensive outreach through communications, on and off campus programming, the Alumni Association, and the Parent and Family Council.

Bursar

The Bursar's Office is responsible for coordinating and maintaining all aspects of student financial accounts. This includes billing, processing payments, posting accepted financial aid, issuing refunds, and maintaining payment plans.

Campus Safety

The Department of Campus Safety helps students navigate a successful and safe experience at McDaniel College. The officers of the Department are charged with responding to all security, fire, and medical emergencies on campus. We provide 24 hour a day protection to the College community 365 days a year.

Financial Aid

McDaniel College realizes the importance of consistent and personal relationships with our financial aid staff. You'll begin working with your Financial Aid Specialist as an admitted student and continue working with them throughout your four years at McDaniel. This will allow your Financial Aid Specialist to get to know your personal financial situation and how it changes over the course of your enrollment.

The Office of Instructional Design and Technology provides training and support to faculty, students, and staff in the use of current and emerging learning technologies.



Intercollegiate Athletics

McDaniel participates in 24 Division III men’s and women’s team sports, each competing in the Centennial Conference. Beyond varsity athletics, fall and spring intramurals include 12 sports, giving students even more opportunities to join a team or root for friends.

The Hoover Library supports McDaniel College’s mission as a diverse, student-centered community committed to excellence in the liberal arts and sciences and professional studies. Post Office

The College Post Office is a contractual branch of the United States Postal Services (USPS) and is bound by the USPS regulations. We offer all domestic and international services, along with Postal Money Orders at the same retail rates as determined by the USPS. We also offer fax services and mailing supplies.

Residence Life

Residence Life staff provide students with information and referrals to campus resources, educational programming in the halls, social gatherings to let the residence halls achieve a sense of community, assistance for individual students experiencing challenges, and a network of support for our residents at their home away from home.

STEM Center

The STEM Center is the premier learning support space at McDaniel for students studying in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. The center assists students of all majors in achieving academic success in STEM. Supported subjects include Psychology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Computer Science, Accounting, Economics, and Statistics.



Student Access & Support Serv

Student Accessibility & Support Services (SASS) assists all students with documented disabilities. The SASS Office works with each student on a case-by-case basis to determine and implement appropriate accommodations based on individual needs.
