Kurt Dutton

Captain Kurt Dutton serves as the Deputy Director of Campus Safety. Joining McDaniel in the fall of 2016, after retiring from a career in law enforcement as U.S. Special Agent. Captain Dutton focuses much of his time ensuring the Colleges compliance with the Clery Act, and with an attention to detail that assists officers and investigators. Captain Dutton is a Graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center Criminal Investigator Training Program, Law Enforcement Supervisors Leadership Training Program, Firearms Instructor Training Program, Sub-Machinegun Instructor Training Program, the ATF Special Agent Academy, the Federal Air Marshal Training Program, and the Department of State Bureau of Diplomatic Security Special Agent Academy. He enjoys spending time off with family at home and at the Delaware Beaches.
