Dear McDaniel Students,

Indoor facilities, excluding residence halls

Outdoor events and gatherings

Student Housing

Testing

Indoor Events

Substantial

Transmission

Masks required for all community members.

Masks optional for all community members.

Masks encouraged for vaccinated residents and strongly encouraged for those unvaccinated.

In addition to moderate transmission testing, surveillance testing protocol will begin.

All events may run as planned with masks required for all individuals. Mask removal is permitted during food/beverages consumption only. When possible, events over 50 will offer a virtual option.

Also, as a reminder, all undergraduate students (residential and commuting) are required to receive the flu shot prior to their arrival to campus for Jan Term or the spring semester, whichever is applicable. To accommodate those students who would like to receive their flu shot on campus, the Wellness Center will be hosting an additional Flu Shot Clinic on Thursday, November 18, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., in Klitzberg Pavilion inside the Gill Center. All students will now need to provide documentation of receiving their flu vaccine whether it was received on campus or at an off-campus location. Please complete the following online form.

Lastly, we want to take a moment to thank each of you for your commitment to the health and safety of our campus community. Your care for one another remains an inspiration and a living example of community.

Sincerely,
Return to the Hill Committee (RTTH)
