COVID-19 Updates

McDaniel College has made the difficult but necessary decision to move all undergraduate and graduate instruction to an online learning format for the remainder of the Spring Semester. Online instruction will still begin Monday, March 23. Continue to visit our COVID-19 Information Page for updates.

McDaniel in the News: A Tournament of Champions for sure

Nearly 200 McDaniel student volunteers teamed up with about 180 budding athletes from 20 schools and home school groups April 5 for the 30th annual Tournament of Champions at the college.

And champions each and everyone one of the young competitors are. Their orthopedic, visual or behavioral needs did nothing to dampen their excitement, determination and grit as they tackled bowling, basket shooting, parachute play, hockey and T-ball. MC Jamie Costello from WMAR-TV led the cheers echoing in McDaniel’s Gill Center.

The wide grins on volunteers and athletes alike made it impossible to tell who was having the most fun.
