McDaniel to open at noon today, Jan. 7, with modified class schedule

College will open at 12 noon today, Jan. 7. Jan Term courses that meet face-to-face, including My Design, will follow the modified class schedule, as stated within the Inclement Weather Policy and included below:

Courses that are online or include an off-campus, overnight trip will continue as scheduled.

Englar Dining Hall will open at 9 a.m. for continental breakfast with additional brunch options to be served from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. For dinner, Englar Dining Hall will operate under normal hours from 4:45-8:30 p.m. The Hilltop Pub and Caseys’ Corner are closed during Jan Term.

The snow removal plan is in effect. Both the RED and GREEN routes on the snow removal plan will be in use when the college opens. All buildings will be accessible when the school opens, although you may not be able to use your normal path.

Please note the following safety advice:

• Stay on clear walkways and avoid external stairwells.
• Adhere to the signs posted as some sidewalks and stairwells remain closed.
• As you enter and exit buildings, be cautious of wet, slippery floors and be mindful of snow coming off of roofs and overhangs.
