Join this week’s Green Table Talk

Green Terror Table Talks, a weekly virtual space for Students of Color, presents “The U.S. Prison System and its Effect on the BIPOC Community ” this Thursday, April 8, at 3pm on Zoom. This talk will examine the overrepresentation of BIPOC individuals, trauma within communities, and the systemic funneling of the educational system.

You are cordially invited to Hoover Library’s 5th annual READ Poster Honors Ceremony where we will recognize our 2021 honorees: Amanda Gelber, Elva Joya, Gretchen McKay, Suzanne Nida, Matt Pelletier, and Tom Phizacklea.

Join us for the next Interfaith Zoom Series discussion

CEO and ODEI continue our Interfaith Zoom Series on Thursday, April 8 at 6:30pm with a panel presentation on "LGBTQ+ Inclusivity Within Christian Denominations". This panel will feature folks who identify as Universal Unitarian and Luthercostal and will explore how LGBTQ+ people are included (and not included) in their faith. Panelists will share successes and challenges.

Fund your summer internship

Have you found your dream summer internship but aren’t sure how you’re going to make it work, financially? The CEO is here to help! Apply for the Summer Intern Fellowship, an award that is meant to help McDaniel undergraduate students offset the financial burden of their off-campus summer internship.

Stay aware of what services the Wellness Center offers

Remember, the Wellness Center is here to help you achieve and maintain your physical, emotional, and interpersonal well-being. As part of their services, they offer a weekly Grief and Loss Support Group every Monday at 3:30pm over Teams and weekly sessions on how to engage in mindfulness and self-compassion every Wednesday at 3:30pm over Teams.
