See Yourself Here
Do you wonder what the campus community really looks like during the academic year when there are deadlines, readings, a half-dozen options for cool things to do, and a sudden desperate need for more caffeine before the next class? When you visit the Hill, you’ll see the real McDaniel in action — and you’ll want to be a part of it all. Choose the type of program that best meets your needs.
Each day we host a morning and afternoon McDaniel Information Session and Tour. You’ll join other visiting families as we share highlights of the McDaniel Experience as well as important information about applying for admission and scholarships and financing your McDaniel education. Following the information session, you’ll take a walking tour of our hilltop campus with our student ambassadors and have the chance to speak with one of our admissions counselors about your specific interests and questions.
Each fall, we host a series of visit programs specifically targeted to high school seniors. Choose from one of our four “Discover McDaniel” Days, all of which include a class visit, parent sessions, a campus tour and lunch in the dining hall. Each visit program is a great introduction to the McDaniel experience and community, and we encourage you to choose the visit that best suits your needs and schedule.
Individual Day at McDaniel visits (available September through early May) allow you to build a customized visit experience that meets your own personal interests, needs and schedule. Due to high demand during the spring semester, preferential scheduling is given to admitted students for the Fall of 2018.
Are you a counselor interested in bringing a group to visit campus? Group Visits are considered during the fall and spring semester for selected dates and times based on Admissions Staff availability. For more information and available dates, visit our Group Visits Page.
