- Senior Lecturer
Kateryna Dovgan, Senior Lecturer of Art, earned her MFA from the Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv, Ukraine, specializing in studio art, art conservation, and teaching. After a decade-long career in Ukrainian Center for Conservation, Dovgan moved to Germany and later to the USA. She began working at then Western Maryland College in 1998, teaching all fundamental studio courses: Perceptual Drawing, Life Drawing, Painting, Watercolor, Sculpture, Basics of Art Conservation.
Dovgan resides in Baltimore, Maryland, her interests include world art, classical music and opera, fine literature, travel, nature.
