Wendy Morris

I have had the pleasure of teaching and doing research at McDaniel College for over 20 years. I teach various undergraduate courses such as Psychology & the Law, Psychology of Gender, Social Psychology, & Psych Research Methods & Statistics II. I also teach Research & Program Evaluation in our graduate Counseling Program.

I thoroughly enjoy the process of mentoring students in research. On my 26 research publications, 12 students have been co-authors with me and over 20 of my students have presented their research at regional and national conferences.

Two fun facts about me:

  • My passion for teaching extends beyond the classroom and into the mountains. I have been a certified ski instructor for over 15 years and have found many parallels between teaching challenging concepts in the classroom and challenging movements on the slopes.
  • I have recently become a student at McDaniel myself! I regularly take Spanish classes at the college and enjoy learning alongside some of the same students whom I teach.
