McDaniel College has announced an approximately $15 million bequest, the largest gift in the college's history, along with the public launch of a $50 million comprehensive campaign entitled “Reaching New Heights: The Campaign for McDaniel College.” Learn more at campaign.mcdaniel.edu.
McDaniel College has been awarded a four-year grant totaling $580,100 from the Sherman Fairchild Foundation to purchase new state-of-the-art scientific equipment for research and teaching in McDaniel’s Biology, Chemistry, and Health Sciences departments.
Alumni are invited back to campus Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18, for a weekend of engaging activities to reconnect and reminisce. Special milestone Reunion events take place for classes ending in one and six. More information is available at www.mcdaniel.edu/alum-weekend.
McDaniel College announces Commencement speakers for the 2026 undergraduate and graduate ceremonies to be held Saturday, May 23. Undergraduate Commencement speaker is McDaniel College Trustee Robert Pick '92, P’25, executive vice president and chief information officer for Tokio Marine North America. Ochieng’ K’Olewe, the L.
