McDaniel College has announced an approximately $15 million bequest, the largest gift in the college's history, along with the public launch of a $50 million comprehensive campaign entitled “Reaching New Heights: The Campaign for McDaniel College.” Learn more at campaign.mcdaniel.edu.
The McDaniel College community gathered on Tuesday, Nov. 18, for the college’s annual Thanksgiving luncheon and to honor 64 faculty and staff who celebrated a combined 1,050 years of service to the college. Additionally, the winners of the 2025 Arch Award for Exemplary Staff Service were announced.
All current 8th and 10th grade students residing in Carroll County are invited to receive free college search support by enrolling in Carroll County Scholars. Cohorts begin in the fall of 9th or 11th grades. Participants also receive a $100,000 scholarship to McDaniel upon completion of the program.
McDaniel College student actors perform in “The Madman and the Nun,” an absurdist comedy written by Stanislaw Witkiewicz, exploring love, art, and power. Performances are Thursday, Nov. 20-Saturday, Nov. 22, at 7:30 p.m. in WMC Alumni Hall. Please note the show contains adult material and is intended for mature audiences.
