August 22, 2018

McDaniel College has been named to the Forbes 2018 “America’s Top Colleges” list.

The nation’s top higher education institutions are assessed on the direct benefits that the schools provide their graduates, including alumni salaries, retention and graduation rates, debt after graduation, and signs of individual academic and career success.

To compile the ranking, Forbes uses data from the U.S. Department of Education, the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), and the U.S. Department of Education’s College Scorecard, as well as Payscale.com and Niche student surveys.

McDaniel has recently been recognized among the nation’s “Most Transformative Colleges” and as Maryland’s top-ranked independent liberal arts college in MONEY Magazine’s 2018 “Best Colleges for Your Money” list, as well as a “Best Northeastern” college by The Princeton Review
