MONEY Magazine has recognized McDaniel College among the nation’s “Most Transformative Colleges” in recognition of the College’s high graduation rates and alumni success, particularly for students from disadvantaged academic and economic backgrounds.

McDaniel also remains Maryland’s top-ranked independent liberal arts college in MONEY Magazine’s 2018 “Best Colleges for Your Money” list. For the fourth consecutive year, McDaniel is one of the best colleges in the nation for educational quality, affordability and alumni outcomes.

“McDaniel is committed to college access and affordability and we continue to attract the best and brightest students regardless of their financial circumstances,” said McDaniel College President Roger N. Casey. “We are proud of our continued national recognition for our efforts to recruit, enroll and graduate low-income students, many of whom are among the first in their families to attend college.”

According to MONEY, the “Best Colleges for Your Money” rankings combine the most accurate pricing estimates available with indicators of alumni financial success, along with unique analysis of how much value a college adds when compared to other schools that take in similar students. MONEY estimates a college’s “value added” to give students and parents a much better indication of which colleges will provide real value for their tuition dollars.

In addition to MONEY, McDaniel was recently named among the “Best Northeastern” colleges by The Princeton Review.
