Jose Pac of Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, and Blair Boyle of Springfield, N.J., each won three times Jan. 27 to lead McDaniel against Elizabethtown in Centennial Conference (CC) swimming action.

In men’s swimming, individually Pac won the 50 free (21.92 seconds) and 500 free (5:00.18). He was also part of the winning 400 medley relay (3:39.76). Paul Van Nevel of Gaithersburg, Md., won the 200 backstroke (2:01.46) and 200 breastroke (2:20.88). He was also part of the winning 400 medley relay (3:39.76). Grayson Blanchard of Germantown, Md., won the 200 butterfly (2:06.90). He was also part of the winning 400 medley relay (3:39.76).

In women’s swimming, individually, Boyle won the 100 free (56.10 seconds). She was also part of the winning 400 medley (4:28.85) and 400 free (4:01.32) relays. Samantha Smith of Bangkok, Thailand, won the 50 free (25.77 seconds). She was also part of the winning 400 free relay (4:01.32).

In Centennial Conference (CC) women’s basketball, McDaniel drained 15 3-pointers in a 91-30 victory Jan. 27 over Bryn Mawr. Anna Mondoro of Dumfries, Va., led the Green Terror (9-10, 7-7 CC), trying the program record with seven made 3-pointers. She was 7-for-8 from long range and finished with 21 points. Liv Storer of Wangaratta, Victoria, Australia, added 11 points while Halle Burgess of Ashton, Md., chipped in eight points.
