McDaniel earns national accolades in college rankings

McDaniel College continues to receive recognition among the nation’s top colleges and universities. 

Here are recent accolades: 

• U.S. News continues to place McDaniel among the best regional universities in the North in its 2026 “Best Colleges” rankings. McDaniel is once again recognized as a “Best Value” and as a “Top Performer on Social Mobility,” as well as commended for “Best Undergraduate Teaching.”
• Washington Monthly includes McDaniel among the best master’s universities in the nation and on the list of "Best Bang for the Buck Northeast Colleges.” McDaniel also appears in its annual College Guide as one of “America’s Best Colleges for Your Tuition (and Tax) Dollars.”
• The Princeton Review features McDaniel in the 2026 edition of its annual college guide, “The Best 391 Colleges,” and names McDaniel as one of 98 “Best Mid-Atlantic” colleges. McDaniel is also highlighted a “Best Value College” for offering the best return on investment (ROI) with stellar academics and strong career outcomes of graduates at an affordable cost.
• Money Magazine recognizes McDaniel for providing an affordable, quality education that leads to alumni success as one of the nation’s top 732 colleges on its “Best Colleges in America” list.

In addition, McDaniel was recognized among the nation’s top schools for military and veteran students.
