McDaniel College is among the top 50 liberal arts colleges in the nation, according to Washington Monthly, and at the top of its “Best Bang for the Buck” list for the sixth consecutive year.

McDaniel is #48 among 228 liberal arts institutions evaluated by the magazine in three categories — social mobility, research and service — with McDaniel’s ROTC program ranked even higher this year at #4.

On the “Best Bang for the Buck” list, McDaniel ranks #34 — out of the public and private institutions in the Northeast region. These best value colleges are recognized for “helping non-wealthy students attain marketable degrees at affordable prices.”

In addition to Washington Monthly, MONEY Magazine has recognized McDaniel College among the nation’s “Most Transformative Colleges” and for the fourth year in a row has ranked McDaniel among Maryland’s top independent liberal arts college in their 2018 “Best Colleges for Your Money” for educational quality, affordability and alumni success.

Washington Monthly, which began its rankings in 2005, rates schools based “on what they did for their country.” To view the full Washington Monthly rank listings, visit www.WashingtonMonthly.com/2018-college-guide.
