Alumni Weekend 2024

McDaniel College's third annual Alumni Weekend takes place Friday, June 6-Sunday, June 8.

Alumni are invited back to campus for a weekend of engaging activities to reconnect and reminisce. Special milestone Reunions take place for classes ending in zero and five.

Kick off Alumni Weekend with drinks, hors d'oeuvres, music, and Green Terror pride; hosted by the Office of the Associate Vice President of Institutional Mission and Belonging. 

ALUMNI ASSOCIATION AWARDS CELEBRATION
Friday, June 6, 6:30 p.m.
Baker Memorial Chapel
Tickets required.
McDaniel College’s Alumni Association honors alumni who personify the college’s tradition of excellence.

CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST
Saturday, June 7, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Ensor Lounge, Roj Student Center
Start your morning with coffee and pastries from local shops, learn more about the Alumni Council and the McDaniel Women's Leadership Network, and see how you can get involved.

GREEN TERROR TEACHINGS
Saturday, June 7, two sessions: 10-11:15 a.m., and 3-3:45 p.m.

Class is in session! There are morning and afternoon sessions on various topics of interest, voted on by the milestone reunion committees and the Alumni Council. 

MEMORIAL BELL RINGING CEREMONY & REMEMBRANCE GARDEN
Saturday, June 7, 11:30 a.m.
Memorial Plaza
Led by members of the Student Alumni Council, alumni who have recently passed are honored at the Memorial Bell Ringing Ceremony. All milestone classes will be able to honor deceased classmates in the Remembrance Garden.

PRESIDENTIAL ALL-CLASS LUNCHEON & C.U.P. Awards
Saturday, June 7, noon-1:45 p.m.
Naganna Forum, Roj Student Center
Tickets required.
Join President Julia Jasken for lunch and hear highlights of what is happening at your alma mater, and the presentation of the C.U.P. Awards for Community, Unity, and Philanthropy.

LEGACY SOCIETY DESSERT RECEPTION

Meet with us over coffee and desserts to learn how the Legacy Society impacts the college and future Green Terrors. Current Legacy Society members and others interested in joining the society are invited.

ALUMNI LAWN PARTY

Gill Center Tent and ANW Quad
Join us for a family-friendly reunion event with lawn games, a disc jockey taking requests from all eras, light fare (that even your pickiest eaters can enjoy), and drinks for all. (Cash bar; BYO blankets and/or camp chairs.) 

VOW RENEWAL CEREMONY

Alumni couples are invited to celebrate their love for each other and the Hill at a special vow renewal ceremony.

ALL-CLASS CRAB FEAST

Tickets are $55; $35 for Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) 
All alumni are welcome to join the fun at the All-Class Crab Feast, which will also serve as the reunion celebrations for the classes of 1960, 1965, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2020. 

50th REUNION REMEMBRANCE CEREMONY

Honor departed alumni from the Class of 1975 at a service led by fellow class members.
