Art students selected to exhibit in "Emerging Visions" undergraduate art showcase

Five Art majors from McDaniel College were selected to exhibit in the “Emerging Visions” undergraduate art showcase held at Creative York, a nonprofit arts organization in York, Pennsylvania.

The juried exhibition, which is on view through Saturday, March 4, highlights the top undergraduate work from a small group of regional college students.

The five McDaniel students with work in the exhibition are senior Collin Beattie of Boynton Beach, Florida, senior Kate Cramer of Glen Rock, Pennsylvania, senior Grace Harshman of Hagerstown, Maryland, junior Sarah Mendez of Damascus, Maryland, and senior Juliana Stolkovich of Littlestown, Pennsylvania.

Two of the students, Kate Cramer and Collin Beattie, won prizes during the opening reception held on Thursday, Jan. 26. Cramer was awarded “Best in Show,” while Beattie earned an “Award of Distinction.”
