Friends School of Baltimore and McDaniel College form partnership
In addition to Friends School, McDaniel College has created admission pathways for students at a number of high schools. Other schools include Saint John’s Catholic Prep in Maryland, Saint Joseph Academy in New Jersey, and Berks Catholic High School, Delone Catholic High School, and York Catholic in Pennsylvania.
Friends School of Baltimore has formed a new partnership with McDaniel College through its University Partnership Program, connecting students with higher education institutions that share a commitment to academic excellence and access.
“These partnerships demonstrate the exceptional reputation of Friends School and the caliber of our students and educators,” said Josh Carlin, 12th grade dean and coordinator of the University Partnership Program at Friends School. “They also speak to a shared commitment with our partner institutions to reduce barriers and create clear, accessible pathways to college.”
The agreement provides guaranteed admission to McDaniel for students from Friends School who are in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 86% and who meet standard application requirements, starting with those applying to McDaniel for fall 2027 enrollment.
McDaniel also offers merit scholarships ranging from $22,000 to $33,000 annually, along with admissions and financial aid support.
