McDaniel College students participate in Maryland Independent Higher Education Day

Ten McDaniel students from Anne Arundel, Carroll, Frederick, Howard and Montgomery counties, as well as Baltimore City, visited with their elected officials in Annapolis.

McDaniel College students were chosen to represent the college at Maryland Independent Higher Education Day in Annapolis, Md., on Wednesday, Feb. 26.

The 10 McDaniel students from Anne Arundel, Carroll, Frederick, Howard and Montgomery counties, as well as Baltimore City, visited with their elected officials.

Maryland Independent Higher Education Day, organized by the Maryland Independent College and University Association (MICUA), brings together more than 150 college students and administrators to celebrate funding of the Sellinger Program, the state grant program for eligible, nonprofit private colleges.
