In celebration of American Education Week, McDaniel President Roger N. Casey published an op-ed in The Baltimore Sun highlighting the important, yet often undervalued, profession of teaching. In it, he proposes that more incentives are needed to reward those who teach and entice students into teaching, such as McDaniel's Educator’s Legacy Scholarship and the Teachers for Tomorrow (T4T) program in partnership with the Howard County Public School System.
