Army ROTC Scholarship 2025

The Green Terror Battalion recognized cadets who earned Army ROTC Scholarships this fall.

Each scholarship is awarded based on scholastic, athletic, and leadership attributes and covers full tuition and fees, plus additional funds for books, as well as a monthly living stipend. The students will be commissioned as second lieutenants and will be required to serve on active duty in the Army Reserve or National Guard upon graduating from McDaniel.

Army ROTC has been a tradition at the college since 1919, and the Green Terror Battalion, which includes cadets from McDaniel, Hood, and Mount St. Mary’s, is one of the oldest ROTC programs in the nation.

McDaniel has consistently been recognized among Military Friendly Schools® and the college's Military Legacy Scholarship guarantees up to $132,000 over four years to all military veterans, active-duty military personnel, and their children. McDaniel also participates in the Post-9/11 GI Bill and Yellow Ribbon Program.
