McDaniel welcomes families to the Hill for Parent and Family Weekend

Current McDaniel families are invited to join their students for events and programs showcasing life on the Hill during Parent and Family Weekend.

Parent and Family Weekend 2025 kicks off at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, with a welcome reception and opportunity to connect with campus partners, including Campus Safety, McDaniel Culinary Services, Wellness Center, Office of Student Engagement, and Residence Life. Families are then invited to partake in a special priced dinner in Englar Dining Hall (6-8 p.m.) before joining the Office of Student Engagement for a fun hands-on mosaic workshop (8-11 p.m.).

Highlights on Saturday, Nov. 15, include an academic showcase from 9-10 a.m. in the Learning Commons @ Hoover Library, along with presentations by the Center for Experience and Opportunity exploring "Career Tracks" (10:15-10:45 a.m.) and  "Going Global: A World of Learning Awaits" (10:50-11:20 a.m.), prior to a special gameday "Hilltop Huddle" gathering hosted by members of Academic Life, Student Success, and Residence Life, while the Green Terror football team takes on the Gettysburg College Bullets. Plus, end the day with a 90s Murder Mystery Buffet (6:30-8:30 p.m.). 

On Sunday, Nov. 16, the annual Undergraduate Awards & Parent and Family Brunch closes out the weekend's activities (10 a.m.-noon).
